Built for the 2018 Parade of Homes and capturing multiple awards like “Best in Show”, this house is not only a dream for the client, but the several visitors as well. Being tasked with a short deadline, the Steven Dailey crew stepped up to not only complete the project, but build an award winning home as well in approximately 4 months.
The outside of this home is constructed of modern materials such as longboard. This material is made from extruded aluminum to mimic real wood and includes a lifetime finish. The artisan hardie board was mitered at the outside edges, removing the use of corner boards.
What catches your attention first? The Dekton backsplash made to mimic rusted steel? The hollowed our barn wood beam turned light fixture? The reclaimed shiplap island? These features came together to create an eye-catching masterpiece.
We’ve been fortunate enough to craft several visions of fireplace features. While this remains toward the top of the list, the combination of textured tile and the floating hearth and 72″ wide fireplace is a fan favorite.
